If you have looked for real estate in Belize, your own piece of paradise, but don’t want to spend a fortune then look no further! Mayacan Beach Resort may be what you have been looking for. Building lots start at $50,000 US!. The lots sizes are all 50 feet by 120 feet which are slightly smaller than other resorts but also come with a lower price.
Imagine what your morning routine would be… Waking up refreshed with a gentle breeze caressing your body and the sun telling you it is going to be another perfect day in paradise. Having coffee on your veranda overlooking the beautiful turquoise blue water of the Caribbean while enjoying freshly picked fruit for breakfast. You contemplate what you are going to do this fine day; is it staying close to home and snorkeling in the warm waters just feet from where you are having your breakfast? You could go scuba diving on the longest barrier reef in the northern hemisphere; or you could explore and see many of the varieties of flora and fauna on parts of the more than 1800 acres which make up the Mayacan property. So many options!
Perhaps you will step into the nearby jungle to see some of the 150 varieties of birds that visit the site annually; or hike through the property with your camera hoping for a glimpse of one of the many deer, iguanas, coatimundis, foxes, peccary or the elusive jaguar. You may wish to become an amateur anthropologist and explore one of the four Mayan ruins that are within a twenty-mile radius of your home. The options are limitless! No matter what you choose to do you will be living a dream that only a few will enjoy.
The resort is bordered on the south by the South Stann Creek and to the north is Kanantik Resort. As you drive through the property to the beach you pass through four very distinct ecological zones; first are grasslands with sparse long leaf pine called “pine ridge”, next is first growth jungle called “cahoun forest”, then an old coconut plantation and finally, unspoiled white sandy beach looking out over the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.
